The Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the busiest airport in the world, had to evacuate the air traffic control tower, due to high winds and hail, leaving only two controllers in the tower for emergency communication That's not normal. 100 Delta planes had to be pulled for damage assessment due to the wicked hailstorm.

We had four inches of rain over four hours which flooded the interstate (I-75) as well as other major roads, and caused flash flooding. The strong winds caused many trees to fall on power lines and block roads. My flag blew down the street, which has never happened in 35 years of living here. It was like a very short hurricane.
